Water, Water Everywhere: Which One Do I Drink?

Hope you are having a great day--There is so much discussion on water lately. Bottled water is the topic of conversation everywhere. There are so many to choose from. And, tragically, as a by-product, in the US alone, 50 billion plastic bottles are being thrown away: Bottles that won't bio-degrade for hundreds and hundreds of years. What a legacy to leave the children of the world!

But, that's only one of the problems of drinking bottled water. Most importantly, for your health, the water you drink should be alkaline for good health. That means it should be 8.5 to 9.5 on the pH scale.

Lots of authors are discussing this subject. The majority of bottled water is reverse osmosis. None of those that I have tested is alkaline or even neutral, 7.0. In fact, they test out quite below neutral in the low pH range which means they are acidic. Spring water is usually somewhere around neutral. However, most are bottled in plastic that can release harmful chemicals into your water that can cause problems. I'll discuss more on that in future posts.

And, how about soda pop? That has a pH of below neutral to the extent that if you drink just one small soda, yes, one small soda, you need to drink 32 + 8 oz. glasses of Alkaline water-9.5 pH-to neutralize your body from the acidic properties of that one small can. Can you imagine the effect on a person's body from those Big Gulps that people buy? And, don't get me started on diet sodas. More on that in the future, too.

Our health is just way to important to fool around with. What we drink is vital to our health and well-being. There's, also, a really informative, short newsletter that will come just once a week for a few weeks-won't bog your e-mail box down. I'm the only one that gets your info, and I promise I won't share or sell it. So request both. You'll soon discover that all water is not the same and how important the right choices are.

More next time...Take care, & have a great day!
