Even Tylenol Promotes Drinking Enough Water

We all know that drinking water is important. Did you know that Tylenol has a water widget that you can download onto your computer desk top to remind you?

Yes, Tylenol has this little widget that reminds you that you need to drink water. It can be found at http://www.tylenol.com/fast/index.jhtml. Download it free, and you will know when it's time to drink your water throughout the day while you're at the computer.

Tylenol promotes doing this because they tell us it is very important to drink water to avoid getting a headache among other benefits. Interesting, isn't it? They say:

"Did you know that water helps lubricates our joints, cusions our vital organs, transforms the food we eat into needed energy, regulates the body temperature, carries vital nutrients and oxygen throughout our bodies and flushes away toxins. In short, water helps the whole body work better. On the other hand, even mild dehydration can mke you feel tired, dizzy, or light-headed--and can even cause a headache. That's why proper hydration is so essential."

Water is vital for your well-being and health. It is not a choice. You must drink water: That's how we were made. Drinking water while you are sitting all day at your computer is just as important as when you are out on the basketball court. You need to stay hydrated.

Get up and move around a bit, too. Every so often, move your feet around in circles while you are sitting in your chair. Stretch your arms. Hold in your stomach for three counts in several repetitions every half hour, and, if at all possible, get up every hour to move around even if it's to walk back and forth in your office or do a few jumping jacks or whole body, yoga stretches. Don't worry about looking silly. You may just start a trend to have others do likewise.

The important thing is to not just remain totally immobile. The hours can literally slip away while you are engrossed in your work. Having good circulation by doing frequent little exercises and drinking plenty of water are very important additions to your daily, work routine. Your health is all that matters.

Till next time...

Stay healthy and happy,
Stephen
